demi scared me to death back in 2018, i was really scared we would lose her. the months that followed with no updates on how she's doing were difficult but i understood she's in rehab and finally getting the help she needs and that it's gonna take time. i'm very grateful she's still here with us today. no matter her mistakes, i will always stand with her. i hope she'll never have to go through anything like that ever again and i wish her only happiness

I was one of the people who saw that she was in trouble, I commented on ALL her posts saying she needs help. She obviously didn't see it and I got so much hate from people, but I didn't care, because I knew I was right. Shortly after that she deleted the photo's I commented on, maybe it was because she didn't feel right with them or maybe it was because of me, I don't know and I don't want to make this about me. I was so angry with her but she doesn't know me, I was angry that she didn't see what I saw, maybe she did but she had to keep going because of her career. When she went to hospital I knew it was serious, I think she wanted to die because no one was there for her, although there actually were many people who cared like her family and friends she couldn't confide in them because she didn't want to disappoint them or make them worry. She felt guilty and there was no way out. She had so much pressure and thinking back now I shouldn't have been angry with her, because I have no clue what it's like to be a star or to be addicted to heroine. She is my favourite singer and my favourite celebrity in the whole world, I care deeply for her even though she doesn't know me and probably never will. I just wish I was her friend in that time she needed someone, ANYONE. I promise I would have done everything possible to help her, because I saw everything, even though she's great at hiding things I KNEW something was off, and something went terribly wrong.

What makes me sad is, even though she’ll be talking about her struggles there are people out there who will truly never understand. They’ll never understand addiction, body dysmorphia, Ed’s and other horrible things. Mental illness is something you can only empathise with if you don’t have one. I understand there are people without mental illness that support our communities, but they’ll never know the thoughts we have and have had on a daily basis, they’ll never understand that heart sinking feeling after stepping on the weighing scales and seeing you’ve gained a pound. I’m glad that there are people who will never go through these things. But sometimes I just wish I could put into words how horrible it is. If you ever make fun of someone’s mental illness/disability, weight, appearance, ect knowing that it could contribute to mental illness’ then you’re garbage.
