As a fan, I love and miss Corey. The Daniel/ Corey situation vexes me tho. Both were drinking, partying and Corey repeatedly said how much he loved Daniel. Reports are that Daniel was trying to leave the scene. He’s saying he was hurt and not thinking clearly. I’ve never been in a situation like that, but I’ve got to think I wouldn’t leave my bestie. He seems remorseful but still, I wouldn’t leave. JCs Dad talked about how Corey was still alive when JC got onsite. How he died in his arms. How can he lie and say that he didn't try to flee and the media was twisting things up, there were many witnesses. He was caught fleeing by one and chased down by the others to get him to stay there. And I doubt they would lie about what happened because before that tragic accident he was their friend as well.. They knew what he did was wrong and they actually did him a favor because it could've been yet another felony charge if he actually managed to flee the scene completely. Honestly his "apology" should've only been made to Corey's family and friends in private if he actually felt remorseful. Doing it this way like a USloftr caught in a scandal. Making excuses rather than taking responsibility and accepting the punishment he was given seems he only really cares about how the public views him imo. At the end of the day, HE was behind the wheel that night. HE was drinking and driving. HE was driving over 100 mph in a 25 mph area. I honestly believe this was an accident. Family & friends will always be hurt BUT forgive this man. Judging his tone of voice and criticizing every word he says does not help. They were friends, Corey would not want his friend in jail. If a person just got into an accident with broken bones of course they would be disoriented. I think that people are going way too far on some of their comments, I think we need to be careful with what we say. I think that Corey was all about positivity and wouldn't want people to be saying inappropriate things for him. BUT Daniel REEALLLLYYY needs to take responsibility for his actions, like running away after the accident or accusing his so-called "friends" of lying of what they saw that night, blaming Corey for his own death (just go check the tweets he liked yesterday)... and many more. All I saw in that "apology" video was him trying to get pity and make excuses for what truly happened. At this point, not posting a video would've been better for him, for Corey's family, for Franny, Oscar, Crawford, Nezza, Kian, Jc, Daniel and Christian Seavey, Bobby and also Corey's fans. God truly knows what happened that night and we hope that Daniel can accept that one day... and hopefully one day he stops lying to himself and to others to make himself feel better. Corey needs to be remembered as the funny, loving, kind and caring guy he was, instead of the guy who got killed by his "best friend" D****l S***a, who's name shouldn't be mentioned anymore and who only cares about his reputation.
